BazaarX Classifieds ("BazaarX", "we", "our", or "us") provides a classified marketplace app where users can create accounts, post listings, search products, contact sellers, chat, make offers, and purchase subscription access. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the BazaarX Classifieds mobile application and related services.
Information We Collect
- Account details such as name, email address, mobile number, city, locality, and profile information.
- Listing details such as product title, description, price, category, location, images, and seller information.
- Location information that you enter manually or allow the app to detect, used to show nearby products and add listing location.
- Chat, offer, report, wishlist, notification, and marketplace activity data needed to operate app features.
- Payment order information such as order ID, selected plan, payment status, and subscription quota. We do not store card or bank passwords.
- Device, app, log, and diagnostic information used for security, fraud prevention, analytics, and app improvement.
How We Use Information
- To create and manage user accounts and profiles.
- To publish listings and show relevant products based on selected or current location.
- To enable calls, chat, offers, reports, saved listings, and seller/buyer communication.
- To verify payments, activate subscriptions, manage quotas, and provide admin-controlled access.
- To show ads to eligible users. Users with active subscription or admin free access may not see ads.
- To prevent abuse, spam, fraud, unauthorized access, and policy violations.
- To improve app performance, support users, and comply with legal requirements.
Location Data
BazaarX uses city/locality or current location permission only to improve marketplace relevance, show nearby listings, and auto-fill product posting location. You can deny location permission and enter location manually, but some nearby-product features may be limited.
Payments and Subscriptions
Subscription payments may be processed through third-party payment gateway services. Payment status is checked through the gateway and our server before subscription activation. We do not ask for or store UPI PIN, card PIN, net-banking password, or bank login credentials.
Advertising
BazaarX may use Google AdMob or similar advertising services to display banner or rewarded video ads. These providers may collect device identifiers, ad interaction data, and related information according to their own privacy policies.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared only as needed with service providers, payment gateways, advertising providers, hosting providers, legal authorities when required, or other users where needed for marketplace functionality, such as seller name and listing details.
Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect user information. However, no internet or mobile service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
User Choices
- You may update your profile details inside the app.
- You may disable location permission from your device settings.
- You may contact us to request account deletion or data support.
- You may stop using the app at any time and uninstall it from your device.
Children's Privacy
BazaarX is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can review and remove it where required.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
